Auditions

Young singers can apply again to Atelier The Fat Lady.

Admission to the atelier is free of charge and includes the following steps:
an application, an audition with introductory interview, and a (public) masterclass with evaluation.

Send an email with motivation (max. 300 words: English or Dutch), CV, a recent photo, a recent, unedited video recording, and an updated repertoire list (opera/ operetta/ musical/ oratorio/ art song/ world music).

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

REPERTOIRE

• Three opera arias in different languages and styles, one of which is in German. Note: Instead of an opera aria, an oratorio aria may also be sung.
• One art song (Song/mélodie, etc.) of your choice

You can choose which piece you want to sing first. Please note that you have a maximum of 15 minutes to sing.

ATTENTION

• Unfortunately, there is no available space for warm-up before the audition.
  Please prepare accordingly.
• Please come with your own accompanist.
