The TFL-Theatre’s creative team is the independent creator of all productions
and public performances. The team interprets the artistic vision of The Fat Lady.
When essential for a production, a specialist may be invited to support the creative team.

The Fat Lady is like an artistic oasis. My role is to make this oasis a cultural home where young artists, makers, and audiences can come together.
Talent, imagination and tenacity give TFL life. Some artists come for a short while, and some stay longer, until they are ready for the next step.
What am I for TFL? A Conductor? Vocal coach? Composer? Manager? Producer? All of them! But most importantly, also a mentor. By taking time, and by listening, I assist the young singers and instrumentalists on their artistic journey. I see my primary task as nurturing their artistic maturation and personal growth.
This can be reached only thanks to the intensive work and support of a dedicated team that is up to the challenge. I feel like I’m part of TFL and TFL is a part of me.
I truly believe that we are pioneers, and that by sharing our vision we will have a vital influence on the artistic scene.

At The Fat Lady I coach the artists on how to portray a character honestly. Under my guidance the singers learn how to stay in the moment: involved, curious, and observant. They learn that sincerity is the basis for real contact with the audience. Expression gives every performance the unique layering that The Fat Lady is seeking, because it touches people. Each new production is unique and challenging. Every time!

To me, being a part of The Fat Lady means creating together. Each production explores the space between the traditional and the unconventional. Since originality is front and centre, I don’t have to concede anything relating to style or form. This is The Fat Lady and this is me. This combination makes us free, strong spirits bound together, without limits.
